This boutique itinerary traces the colonial heart of Mexico, from Mexico City and Teotihuacán to San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, Guadalajara, Tequila, Punta Mita, Morelia and Pátzcuaro. The journey combines historic hotels, art galleries, private tastings, coastal leisure and heritage towns full of character.
Itinerary

Day 1
Arrival – Mexico City
Arrive in Mexico City and transfer privately to your hotel in the historic centre.
Day 2
Mexico City – City Tour – Teotihuacán
Visit the historic square, Anthropology Museum, National Palace, Metropolitan Cathedral and Zócalo.
Continue to Teotihuacán, one of the most important archaeological sites in the Americas.
Optional — Hot air balloon ride over Teotihuacán
Day 3
Mexico City – Querétaro – San Miguel de Allende
Depart to Querétaro, founded in 1531, then continue to San Miguel de Allende.
Visit San Miguel de Allende and La Aurora art gallery.
Optional — Cuna de Tierra vineyard with private tasting
Day 4
San Miguel de Allende – Dolores Hidalgo – Guanajuato
Travel to Guanajuato via Dolores Hidalgo, where Mexico’s Independence movement began.
Tour Guanajuato including Union Garden, Juárez Theater, Peace Plaza, the University and the famous mummy museum.
Day 5
Guanajuato – Guadalajara – Tlaquepaque – Guadalajara
Depart for Guadalajara, a symbol of Mexican music, cuisine and traditions.
Visit Tlaquepaque, a centre of Mexican arts, galleries and restaurants.
Day 6
Guadalajara – Tequila – Puerto Vallarta / Punta Mita
Depart toward the coast, visiting Tequila village along the route.
Continue to Punta Mita for a luxury coastal stay.
Optional — Blend your own tequila in Tequila
Day 7
Punta Mita
Day at leisure in Punta Mita, considered one of Latin America’s most exclusive coastal destinations.
Day 8
Punta Mita – Morelia
Depart to Morelia and visit the main square, Cathedral and Government Palace.
Day 9
Morelia – Pátzcuaro
Visit Pátzcuaro and take a small boat tour near Janitzio on Lake Pátzcuaro.
Day 10
Pátzcuaro – Mexico City
Continue back to Mexico City for the final night.
Day 11
Mexico City – Departure
