Itinerary
Day 01
Arrival – Mexico City
Arrival at the airport and transfer to the hotel.
Day 02
Mexico City – Teotihuacán – Mexico City
Visit the Three Cultures Square, Guadalupe Shrine and Teotihuacán.
Day 03
Mexico City – Diego and Frida Tour – Mexico City
Visit Diego Rivera’s Anahuacalli Museum, the Coyoacán neighborhood and Frida Kahlo’s Blue House. Overnight in Mexico City.
Day 04
Mexico City – Guatemala City
Departure to Guatemala and overnight.
Day 05
Guatemala – Chichicastenango – Lake Atitlán
Transfer to Chichicastenango and then to Panajachel on the shores of Lake Atitlán. Overnight at Lake Atitlán.
Day 06
Santiago Atitlán – Panajachel – Antigua Guatemala
Boat trip to Santiago Atitlán, visit the church of Santiago Apóstol and the confraternity of Maximón, then transfer from Panajachel to Antigua Guatemala. Overnight in Antigua.
Day 07
Antigua Guatemala
Visit Antigua Guatemala, Plaza de Armas, Palace of the Captains, the Cathedral, churches and monasteries, plus the jade factory and handicraft market.
Day 08
Antigua Guatemala – Airport – Flores – Tikal – Flores
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Flores. Arrive in Flores and continue to the archaeological site of Tikal.
Day 09
Flores – Rio Dulce or Mariscos
Boat ride to Rio Dulce, visit San Felipe Fort and Livingston. Return and overnight in Rio Dulce or Mariscos.
Day 10
Rio Dulce or Mariscos – Quiriguá – Copán
Departure to Quiriguá archaeological site and continuation to Copán. Overnight in Copán.
Day 11
Copán
Visit Copán archaeological site and enjoy free time in the village of Copán. Overnight in Copán.
Day 12
Copán – Santa Ana – Joya de Cerén – San Salvador
Departure to San Salvador, visiting the Santa Ana route and Joya de Cerén. Transfer and overnight in San Salvador.
Day 13
San Salvador – Suchitoto – La Unión
Visit San Salvador, the colonial town of Suchitoto and Suchitlán Lake. Departure and overnight in La Unión.
Day 14
La Unión – Gulf of Fonseca – Potosí – León
Boat ride on the Gulf of Fonseca, arrival in Potosí and continuation through the Nicaraguan border to León. Overnight in León.
Day 15
León
Visit the city, La Recolección, El Calvario and the Cathedral, with free time to explore León.
Day 16
León – Masaya – Granada
In the morning, visit Masaya volcano. Continue to Granada to visit the colonial city. Overnight in Granada.
Day 17
Granada – Departure
Transfer to the international airport for your flight home.
